ApkaMD Patient Mobile App

This Privacy Policy also applies to the ApkaMD Patient Mobile App, available on Android and iOS platforms. The app is designed to help users securely access and manage their personal health information, including medical summaries, medications, appointment records, and provider messages.

What Data the Mobile App Collects:

• Health Information: Includes diagnoses, treatment history, and medications as provided by your healthcare provider or clinic.
• User Profile Data: Full name, date of birth, gender, email address, and phone number.
• App Usage and Device Data: IP address, device ID, operating system version, login timestamps, and crash logs.

How We Use Mobile App Data:

• To display your personal health records and care summaries.
• To enable secure messaging between patients and care teams.
• To manage user authentication and protect against unauthorized access.
• To improve app stability, troubleshoot crashes, and enhance the user experience.

All data collected through the ApkaMD Patient Mobile App is handled in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy laws. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
